I did a search of the 1910 Census for Etowah County for your Will or William to see if your Will was the same as the one that I have listed in my data. My Will Cowart was born in 1860 and lived in Coosa County AL, maybe in FL later, so they are not the same I guess. The Will Cowart ( on the census image was born in 1880). I had to use the soundex to find your Will on the search of the 1910 census as he was shown on the census index as Corrott instead of Cowart. He is shown as married to Sally Blakley, etc. My Cowart ancesters lived in AL in the 1800s. Maybe this is not much help but I can search some other census if you would like. Thanks for your help, i just had an email from someone on the Blakley mailing list,the William I'm looking for went to South Carolina and they found him on the 1920 census . His name is William F Cowart married Sally Blakely and his dad was born in GA.
