    3. Moses SELLERS Jr. I do not think is not related to me. He is the grandfather of Governor OATES who is a distant cousin to me on Governor's side of the family. Governor OATES's grandfather Stephenson OATES was the brother of my fifthgreatgrandfather James OATES. I am looking for information on Moses SELLERS Revolutionary War record. His father is also said to have been in the Revolution. Can someone tell me where both Moses are buried. I need to pass this along to an S.A.R. friend who is trying to get a S.A.R. chapter started in Pike County. Or would the SELLERS be related only by marriage? Le

    3. I must be thinking of Matthews Sellers did he marry Jane Ward, if so it is Matthew I am thinking of. I may have had him confused with Moses Matthews. I am looking for information on his Revolutionary War Service. Hi Sonny how are you doing. Did I tell you the late Mary Ligon Epps nee Solomon was my late mother's cousin. Mother passed away 8 Feb 2007. I believe Mary Ligon and Julian W. Epps Sr had only two children Rev. Julian Epps Jr. and Malinda Epps. Mary Ligon lived on 200 Main Street Headland. It may have been 201 Main Street. Headland, Alabama. Does anyone know if Lucy HICKMAN is also the mother of Claudius OATES. His brother was Joshua C. OATES. Josh was the son of Colonel William Calvin OATES and Lucy HICKMAN. I haven't located any marriage records for Colonel OATES and Lucy HICKMAN. Her parents were Daniel Edward HICKMAN and Sarah Ann V. CALK daughter of James Simon CALK and Marina KIRKLAND. Anyone with information on these please let me know. Le ----- Original Message ----- From: "Wm. 3. I made a note that there are Sellers graves at Perote Cemetery in Bullock County ( was originally part of Pike Co.). I did not make note of their given names. My earliest Cadenhead is buried there. I noted a few families that had several burials there in case they could be connected later.
