Joyce, By any chance do you have any Wyatts in your ancestery? I have a William C. (Conquest? ) Wyatt, you had a daughter, Elizabeth who married a Folmar. This would be around 1830 or so. He is supposedly the son of Elijah Wyatt who founded Goshen Baptist Church. Wife Obedience. Would appreciate anything you may know. Thanks!! A baby was born recently, an addition to the Folmar clan, who was named Mary Margaret. And that's just what they plan to call her. Elijah Wyatt was an early preacher at Elam Primitive Baptist Church. And we have long thought that one of Wyatt's three daughters, Elizabeth, was the second wife of John Nicholas Folmar. We think Elizabeth was probably married first to a Jeffcoat, and is referred to as Elizabeth Jeffcoat. She and John Nicholas had a son, Daniel, who died during the Civil War. He did not marry nor have children. What is your source of information? We have never found proof that Elizabeth was the daughter of Elijah Wyatt though we believe it. A Wyatt man, wife, and daughter, visited Elam Church a few years back. He grew sugar cane in Louisiana, I think, and said he was descended from Elijah. I have their address somewhere. We look forward to hearing from you. Joyce Folmar (Daughter), and Kathlyn Folmar (Mother) ----- Original Message ----- Outgoing mail is Virus Scanned byNorman Data Defense.
