Hello list, I am trying to trace any information about our Great Grandfather, James David Hopper who spent awhile in Troy, AL during the 1850's. and then purchased land in Pickens County, AL in 1858. Would anyone have any information on him. I have a photo of him taken in Troy, AL in about 1855 if anyone would want to see it, I could send it. I would appreciate any information.
