It was organized in Abbeville, Alabama. My thirdgreatgrandfather Jon Price was an Private in the company before he became Assisstant Regimental Surgeon. A number of Kirkland relations were also in this company. Dr. Price's brother in law was in Company A " The Henry Grays". Just curious. I have a list of men from the Archives and History and they are all from Henry County. Were these the only men from Pike County. Thank you Le

    3. Lee this is only the men from Pike and may not be all of them. This list was gathered from various sources for the erection of the statue that is downtown Troy and is in honor of the men from old Pike who fought. As you will note it is the info from the historical Societies bulletin and they have the manuscript rights and copyrights to distribute this work. Whoever the person is who is freely distributing this work should have answered you since they are taking it directly from the bulleting and this is explained in the front of the book.
