I don't have the answers to your questions since I don't live in Pike Co. But, I have just ordered a V.A. stone to be set in Seattle for one of my husband's relatives. They are going to send the stone directly to the cemetery and the cemetery is charging a fee for the concrete to set it and perpetual care. So I would check with the cemetery (once you find out how) and see if they won't take care of all the arrangements. They will have to sign off on the V.A. form that they will accept the stone. I'm also working with a group to provide a ceremony. If they can't do it at the time it is set they will do so on a military holiday at a later date. Leslie
