I do not know why it was named that but yes it is between Brundidge and Springhill. The name has thrown many people off. Did you know that it is the oldest public building still in use in Pike County? It was built in 1857. It also has two cemeteries. One white and one black. The church has given the black one to them in the past few years. All three are on the registry of historic places.
