Good hunting.

Posted on: Pike County, Al Query Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Al/Pike/1823 Surname: BRADLEY ------------------------- I am looking for any information on the Bradley's in Pike County, Al. My G-Grandfather was A. Lee Bradley. He married Leana. both died in 1945 and are buried at Shady Grove Cemetery in Pike County. They had two children that I know of. Eula who I think married a Windham had a daughter named Fannie Mae. And Grover."My Grandfather" who married Rebecca Beauchamp. I don't know my G-Grandfather's first name. My Grandmother only had it listed as A. L. Bradley. My father lived down a little road next to an old wooden water tower in Troy. My Mother said he showed it to her a few years ago. They built a new one but the old wooden one was still standing. I was told that A. L & Leana died because of a tornado that came through the area. I noticed they died just a few days apart. My Dad use to tell us about Ace Bradley in Two Egg, FL. He said he was related to him. I wondered if he was my G-Grandfather. If anyone recognizes these names or can help in any way, please e-mail me at BradleyHistory@aol.com Thank you, Wanda

Even though Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery is in Covington Co., I do appreciate seeing it appear here. Wm. DeLoach was in Pike Co. in 1860, but was buried in that cemetery. I have found numerous relatives that were members of that church. Now, my problem. I downloaded the file, but when I tried to open it, I got the message "file not right for import filter". Anybody got any ideas on how I may save that file. Thanks, LaVerne
Does anyone have information regarding John Hilliard Gibson and his wife Bertha Nicholson. They are my grandparents. I know he had a brother called "D" and a sister called Mollie. Who was his mother and father? Were they Creek or Cherokee? Any information will be appreciated. joni
