Good morning all, My Pike County Heritage book came yesterday and I am very proud of it. The pictures are clear and large enough that I did not have to put on my glasses to see them and the printing is sharp and clear. It is a beautiful book inside and out. My descendants will have something to be proud of in the future. Thank all of you for the hard work that you did to make this book available to everyone interested in genealogy. I would especially like to thank Dorothy Ann Folmar for the help she gave me. Without her, I would have never been able to have my and my husband's ancestors in the book. She and her mother, Katherine Folmar, have been a great help to genealogist everwhere as well as those in Pike County. Thank you all, Wynnette Tucker Welch
The picture of the Charlie Celmon Austin family on page 153 is reversed from the actual setting. Thus, the caption must be read as right to left in the picture rather than the normal left to right, i.e., Jeffery is on the first row on the right, not the left. Bob Austin
Received my Pike County Heritage book this afternoon (Minnesota). Have just had time to skim but it looks great. Worth the wait. Good job.
