Was wondering if the URL was correct. I have been searching for William Marcus Williamson's parents. W. Marcus Williamson was born in 1855 and lived in S.C.. Around 1900 he left his family and moved to Millen, Ga. where he died in 1939. Family tell about Williamson and Jeffecoat reletives that moved to Alabama in Pike County. Cook purchased some land in 1841 on NW 1/4 of SW 1/4 of Sec 10, Township 11N and Range 24E which I believe is near the present day Barbour-Pike border ) of the before mentioned John Thomas Cook who died June 1, 1858?

Hill and William M. Bray lived in Pike County for many years. W. Hill married Eunicy Ann McDaniels and later died in the Civil War abt. mid 1864. I believe Eunicy died around 1870 or 72 because Jefferson Bray was made guardian of James Hill. W. Bray lived until 1895 but I believe Mary Christiana Whatley died in the early 70's. A Mary Toler is buried in the Kendrick Family Cemetery in 1860 but I cannot find any record of Dempsey Toler in the Census records or anywhere else. Dempsey Toler and Mary Carter married in Crawford Co. Ga in 1826 and she is found likely as a widow in her father's Pike Co. AL will in 1858. I don't know what happened to Dempsey.
