Looking for the parents of Mary Emma "Mamie" Fowler Sellers. Leon Grady Sellers was born on February 17, 1904, in prob. Ebenezer or Banks, Pike County, AL. His parents were George Lafayette Sellers and Martha "Mattie" Rebecca Amos. Leon and Mary lived in Camden, Wilcox County, AL in 1929. He died on April 3, 1993, in Madera County, CA at the age of 89 and is buried there. He married on July 1928 prob. Camden, Wilcox County, Alabama to Mary "Emma" Mamie Fowler who was born on April 3, 1907 in Camden, Wilcox County, AL and died on April 7, 1981, in Orange County, CA at the age of 74 years. SELLERS MARY E.-- born: 04/03/1907, Mother's maiden: HELTON, Father's surname: FOWLER, Sex: F, Born: ALABAMA, Died in ORANGE County, CA, died: 04/07/1981, SS# 546-22-4405, age: 74 yrs. Looking for any information on the family of William H. REYNOLDS. William was born probably in Pike Co., AL on August 2, 1893. His mother was Frances G. GREATHOUSE and his father was W. Tom Reynolds. He was in the 1900 Census of Franklin County, Texas with his parents and siblings: John G. born June 28, 1895, and died December 1980 in Mount Vernon, Franklin County, TX; Lizzie C. Reynolds born June 1897 in Alabama and died unknown, probably got married; Frances born February 1900 in TX, probably got married. William H. REYNOLDS, I guess William later married (?) and moved to Stockton, San Joaquin, CA where he died on March 14, 1969. Would love to have any information about his family and a copy of his death obit from the newspaper. W. Tom REYNOLDS married Frances G. GREATHOUSE, daughter of William Walter GREATHOUSE (1822-12/16/1863) and Charlotte Lucinda McLENDON (8/2/1830-10/28/1899). Frances G. GREATHOUSE was born February 1864 and died apparently in Franklin County, Texas; married W. Tom REYNOLDS on November 23, 1890, by Rev. A. N. BLACK at Charlotte GREATHOUSE'S Banks, Alabama home. W. Tom REYNOLDS was born October 1867 in Alabama. After Frances' marriage and after the birth of Lizzie C. REYNOLDS on June 1897 in Alabama. They moved to Texas. They later returned to visit John GREATHOUSE and Martha Sophronia SELLERS GREATHOUSE in Banks, AL. W. Tom REYNOLDS and Frances G. GREATHOUSE REYNOLDS probably died in Texas or CA. Virginia: thank you for your reply. I have the land grants where "my" DuBose were granted land. I will try to tie this in with the info you gave me. and the location of the old "Dubose cemetery". Jeremiah DuBose died in 1839, his wife, Rebecca died in 1844; his son Samuel died in 1893 while his wife Lucetria died between 1870/1880. Again thank you for your help.
