    3. I had been in touch with others such as Sonny Joyner and Larry Smith. I have also seen the 1880 census which listed two sons in his household Claudius and Joshua. Lucy was the niece of my greatgreatgreatgrandmother Mila Price. Also Joshua appears in the household of Lucy in 1870 and 1900. He and his brother were in their father's household in 1880. Look for the 1880 census you will see Governor Oates with two sons enumerated in his household. Joshua is listed as Cornelius in the household of Lucy Hickman in 1870. and 1900 census. In regard to Wikipedia you can go in and edit the text. The 1880 census shows you that Governor Oates had two sons before he married Salley Toney 28 Mar 1882. His Father's Family Bible also shows they were Josh, and Claudius. Born 1865, and 1867. The mother of Josh was Lucy HICKMAN. I have not located the mother of Claudius. Josh is in Lucy's household on the 1870 and 1900 census.
