    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Adams, Simmons, Skinner Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/QU.2ADI/3840.2.2.1.1.1.1 Message Board Post: Janas, Many, many thanks! Wade's brother was Needham E. Adams, and the election notice you listed looks like it is Needham. Thank you! As for the Simmons, I believe that Wade's wife Martha was the daughter of Daniel Simmons, although I am researching about five different Simmons familes which I don't yet know whether or not they are related. Needham also married a Simmons, Nancy, but I don't know her parents' names yet. More research needs yet to be done. Martha Skinner, Wade's second wife, is still a mystery and I have not yet narrowed down her family or parents. Many thanks for this election notice. Cathy

I hereby appoint as Managers of said election, A.A. Griffin, I.B. Smith, and N.E. Adams. Jan. 25, 1861 Bird Fitzpatrick, P.J. Which Simmons are you researching? There is a reference to possibly 5 different Simmons in this book. There is also the one of Martha Skinner (not any info) just thanking her for a sample of syrup that she made from the pulp of watermelon. The other Skinners that have some type of mention in an article are Jonathan J. and a W.R. Skinner. The only other 2 Adams that are referenced are Barbary and a Benjamin. Janas
