I found (on line) Daniel Burford MURPHREE, born June 27, 1834, Smith Co, TN and died Dec 31, 1890 Troy, Pike Co, Al. His widow, Mary Willie Henderson Murphree born 1845 Pike Co, died 1923 at Troy, Pike Co, Al. Does anyone know this family? There were several children (including twins). I believe she was the sister of my 2 great-grandmother, HARRIET MONK COUNTS HAYS. In 1860, two of Harriet's sons, CHARLES AND HEZEKIAH COUNTS, were living with the Kelsoe family. In 1870, Harriet's mother, MACAH MONK, was living next to the Kelsoes. I believe the Kelsoes had a son, William and a daughter, Mary. I would love to correspond with a descendant of this family.
