Surname Pittman, I'm having trouble with my Tillman Raleigh Pittman who married Elizabeth Holland in Fayette Co., Ga. on 17 Sept. 1829. They moved to the Pike/Coffee County line area near old Frisco. Elizabeth Holland had a brother named, Talton Holland. Tillman and Elizabeth Holland Pittman had Lucy who married Bryant Smith. Matilda who married Ed D Butts. Wm. J. who married Sarah Strickland. Eli R. who seems to have been in the WBTS. If anyone knows who Tillman Pittman's parents were, please help...Thanks. Is Mahala's name, Goore, spelled correctly? I connect to the Tanton's, via my Grand Aunt, Gladys Jackson. She married William Archie Tanton. He was b. April 18, 1903. d. October 1972.
