My great grandfather was James H. Duncan, b. 1827, d. (?), married Lucretia Ann Cooper,d/o Robert & Julia Killingsworth Cooper, on July 28, 1859 in Tuscaloosa Co.,AL James H.and Lucreita Duncan lived in northern Tuscaloosa Co., AL near New Lexington at one time. I am searching for the parents of James H. Duncan. There was a John Duncan who married Mary Ann Dowdle on March 4, 1825 in Tuscaloosa Co., AL. Since James H. Duncan was b. in 1827, I wondered if he could be the s/o John and Mary Ann Dowdle Duncan. Any info on either John and Mary Ann Duncan or James H. and Lucreita Ann Duncan will be appreciated.
