Hi, Regarding your post on the Stephensons. I have a little data on the Gillespie side. Sarah "Sallie" Gillespie was the daughter of Dr. John B. Gillespie and Nancy [maiden name unknown]. John B. married 2nd Amelia Gardner. Dr. John Gillespie's other children (there could be more) were: T. J., Mary Frances, Jacob Oscar, John, and Amanda. Dr. John Gillespie was the son of Jacob and Mary Gillespie. Jacob was the son of Joseph of Mecklenburg, NC. Hope this helps.
