In the 1850 census he was listed as an overseer with a wife named Sarah and children, 1)Josiah, 2)Joseph, 3)Joshua, and 4)Oliver. In the 1860 census he has an entirely new family. Wife, Paralee and children, 1) Olivia, 2)James F., 3)William , and 4)Nancy J. It seems like his first family perished in a fire or something. Can anyone help?
