George would've been too old for the Civil War, but his son, James Henry Allen born about 1842, was enlisted in the 11th Infantry Co. H. Does your book have anything on him? I'm still looking for his marriage info from about 1866 to Mary (?). Would love to find her last name and/or any other information. Thanks again for the help. I need all I can get with this bunch Kary
