Rhonda, I have some information on Joseph DeKalb Ball b 9/9/1841, d 6/22/1894. He married Delia Stapp b 6/11/1847, d 3/26/1912. The parents of Joseph are: Parks E. Ball b Chester District, SC. 1/7/1808, d 4/2/1880 and Zilpha Spraggins. b 5/10/1802 d 3/20/1867 According to the information, Parks owned some slaves who helped him build a brick home. Parks and Zilpha had 13 children, Joseph DeKalb and Delia had 10. If you feel these are the Ball's you are searching for, I will be pleased to share the information with you. Please email me. I do not find any records of a Lewis Ball.
