Then I read further on in your posting and saw that you wanted to be contacted directly at your e-mail address, and I didn't do that - I just replied to Rootsweb. So maybe you didn't read it. So I tried to send it again just now direct to your e-mail address and it came back. So I'll post it as a reply again, and hope you get it. Anyway, I've been researching Dollards in Ireland for several years. Mostly, they come from the Kilkenny area, but mine came from North County Dublin. I had a Mary Dollard who was my gr gr gr grandmother. She was married in 1795 in Skerries to Patrick Seaver, and their son Patrick immigrated to Australia in 1864. I am an Australian, now living in New Zealand. I have been trying for years to establish ary's family line, and although I know of several relations, I still don't know her parents. She had an Uncle Patrick Dollard living n the Skerries area in the late 1700's, plus other uncles, aunts & cousins. She came from the Skerries parish according to her marriage certificate. Patrick was a common Dollard name. Your Patrick was born in the same generation as Mary's children, and I notice you have a Mary also. Have you found what part of the county they came from? I hope to hear from you. Good luck with your research! Gaye

The book FAMILYHISTORY: Sullivan-Dorroh, Parker-Hannah-Lowe, Pearson-Gilliland and Elrod-Cornwell-Fendley by Eddie Ruth (Pearson) Wilcox, gives her address as 10830 Cotillion Drive, Dallas, Texas 75229-2507 and published by The Anundsen Publishing Col, 108 Washington Street, Docorah, Iowa 52101, and the copyright is 1992. My uncle has been kind enough to lend me his copy. I don't know if there is a copy in the libraries in Pickens County. There is not one in Tuscaloosa. Funny you should mention Sam Hannah. There is a Samuel Andrew Hannah who lives in Winter Springs, Florida that has written several small booklets about the Hannah. He is actually a whole different line, but has included John Cullinas and his family in the books. Southern Roots Grow Deep Kris

    3. The Alabama State Highway map shows the location of Tabernacle Church and Cemetery as being approximately 1/4 mile on a side road to the south off Pickens County Road # 74. The side road is about 1/2 mile from the state line and Lowndes County. The "Pickens County Cemetery Records Book" does list a Stephen and a Jane McReynolds as well as 9 other McReynolds. McReynolds, Rev. Stephen 8/14/1778 3/27/1851 minister for 32 yrs. McReynolds, Jane 2/15/1786 12/15/1862 Please email me if more information is needed. Information I have says it is in either Pickens Co. AL or Lowndes Co. MS, but I'd like to know for certain. My ancestors, Stephen McReynolds and Jane Hilliard McReynolds are supposedly buried there, along with a number of their children, but the cemetery listings haven't been posted on RootsWeb as yet. GNIS indicates a location on the Pickens AL / Lowndes MS line, but nothing is indicated on the topo map. > > ______________________________ ------------------WebShoppe Virus Scanner----------------- This Email was scanned for Viruses by WebShoppe Virus Scan [ DSL,Dial-Up,Web Hosting, Web Design,T-1,Frame-Relay ] [ www.webshoppe.net ]
