    1. Re: [ALPICKEN] William Bell, Jr. & Mary Crews Bell Gravesites
    2. Andy Junkins
    3. According to the "Pickens County Cemetery Records Book". your William & Mary Crews can be found at the "Bell Family Cemetery". It is located in "Henry's Beat" 5 miles North of Ethelsville. Bell, William 5/ /1793 8/3/1883 Bell, Mary Crews wife of William Bell ------1804 5/12/1863 The Bell Cemetery is under 2 separate listings, it is unknown if this indicates 2 separate cemeteries. The Cemetery is not shown on the Pickens County road map, so I am unable to give you a better location. There are 9 bell's buried there, and an additional 28 Bell's buried in other Pickens County cemeteries. There are about 3 pages devoted to the Bell family in the "Pickens County Alabama History And Families: book. A quick glance at the book showed several William's but no Mary Crews, the ones shown may or may not be part of the family you are researching. If I can be of further assistance, please email me. The oldest grave there shows a death date of 1810. There is another Bethany Cemetery listed in the above book. It is listed as being at Aliceville, off Lewiston Road. The oldest grave there shows a death in 1829. Hope that this helps you. Joe Stegall
