I just found out that Cunningham is now called Vaiden. Does anyone know the names of the cemeteries or churches in this locality? Was there a newspaper for the area in 1929? There is an excellent site that lists many Perry County cemeteries along with the names of those buried in each. It has a surname index. The URL is: http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Hills/9365/index.html The Marion Times Standard is the paper published in Marion, the county seat of Perry, Co. It was being published in 1929. There may be a paper published in Uniontown which is in Perry Co. If the area you are interested in is in the Eastern part of Perry Co, especially the SE part the Selma Times Journal may be useful to you. It is published in Dallas Co. but does, I believe, cover some of Perry. Good luck. John
