However, this does not look like my Loyd Hancock. My Loyd should be abt 40/50 yrs old with a family. I can locate him in 1830 in Tuscaloosa, AL and again in 1850 in Pontotoc Co., MS, where he settled and died; as did his wife. He was born in SC and left after 1820. A younger brother is said to have moved with him. They must be "on the move" during 1840 Census. Again, thank you.
