Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/JU.2ADI/581.2 Message Board Post: Ruben Edwards (b. 3-15-1785, d. 8-20-1869) as well as his wife, Nancy (now I know what her maiden name was, b. 2-12-1777, d. 7-2-1854) are buried in the Edwards Cemetery in Marion, Union Parish, La. >From my aunt's Bible, it shows Ruben and Nancy's child as Miller Edwards (b. 11-8-1813, d. 3-5-1897) and married to Mary Ann Waters (b. 5-1-1817, d. 12-10-1859) and their children were George Washington (b. 1-15-1856, d. 3-23-1947) -- my g.gf, Martha b. 1835, Thomas b. 1837, Matilda b.1839, Nancy b. 1841, James b. 1846, Columbus b. 1847, John W b. 1853, Francis Marion b. 12-15-1857, d. 6-29-1935. Francis was married to Emily A. Nettles b. 10-27-1861, d. 5-29-1945 (they are buried at Edwards cemetery in Marion, La). Then Miller Edwards married Mahalia (Bilberry Brasher) I think and they had some children.
