His wife was Eleanor Black. This came from Orphan Court Records in Wilcox Co, TX, started in 1835 when she died with minor children, and her husband Eri Rodgers was listed as guardian of the minor children. I have tried to find a copy of the Will of William Black so that I might learn the other children in his family.
