I still have not determined the relationship of James Edwards, and his brothers George and John, to Reuben Edwards. Perhaps they are nephews? I have found Reuben, John, James and Miller Edwards in Police Jury Records for Union Parish, LA as early as 1841-43. Also several deed records. Nothing that suggests how they are related. My next step may be to look at Perry County Alabama records for the 1820-1840 period. I would be interested in any information that you might come across about the Edwards family. Jean
