Surnames: Chapman, Parker Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/JU.2ADI/544.2 Message Board Post: I have James Chapman born aproximately 1818 in Tennessee and Mary Chapman with children Robert M., William, Julia S., Lucy E., Joseph S. and Martha Q(?) living in Buck Court Township, Ashley County Arkansas in the 1860 Census. Their next door neighbors were his brother Abner and his family. I believe they also had older brothers John and William who were living in Perry County in 1850. John and his wife Priscilla and their children lived with Enoch (b. 1783 SC)and Nancy Parker Chapman (b. 1779 VA) who I believe to be their parents. I haven't been able to get back any further than that. I'd love to hear from anyone who has other information.
