Does anyone know an on-line source for Confederate deaths in the Civil War? I have one ancestor I can't find after 1860 and he would be the right age to have fought in the war. Jackie Kersh
The Alabama Archive website has most of them listed. Most of the Perry County boys served in the same company and fought in most of the major battles. My great grandfather William David Hopkins was about 19 years old during the war. I did not believe all the battles he was in until I did further research. It was amazing.
