Ingrid, our connection to the Barron family came in 1885 in Simpson Co, MS when Penelope Harriet Johnson (sister of my grandfather) married Nelson J. Barron. Knowing that my Johnson family had origins in Perry Co, AL, made me wonder if his Barron family did also, but I have nothing verifiable before the wedding date of March 6, 1885 to connect the two families, just circumstantial. With the Barron and Johnson families living in such close proximity to one another in Perry Co, AL, I suspect previous links, whether kith or kin, I do not know. Who were the descendants of John, William and Thomas Barron and where did they go after Perry/Hale ? I am especially interested in any who came to South Mississippi.
