    3. Can anyone tell me if the Courthouse in Marion has tax records, inventories, and wills from early to mid 1800's. How much trouble is it to obtain these records if you are not in town? 3. I recently sent for will and probate records and was very pleased with the response and the copies I received. The address is Perry County Probate Office, P.O. Box 478, Marion, AL 36756. One of the wills I had a page and book number from an index I found at my local library. I sent a letter with as many details as I had and enclosed a self addressed stamped postcard for them to let me know the fee. When I received the postcard, I dropped a check in the mail and got the records quickly. I think the fee was $1 per page. I can not put my hands on the phone number, but you could try directory assistance at 1-334-555-1212.
