She may have been the daughter of William and Mary L. Howze. Rebecca married John Howell Ogburn 1 Sep 1847 (where?) and had the following children, all born in Clark Co., MS at Clark City or Shibuta: Eugenia Elizabeth Ogburn b. 22 Jun 1848 Nicholas Ogburn b. Nov 1849 John Lawrence Ogburn b. 11 Mar 1852 Caroline Isabella Ogburn b. 3 Aug 1853 Mary Annette "Mamie" Ogburn b. 21 Jun 1855 Charles Jay Ogburn b. 24 Jan 1856 (1857?) Albert Gorden Ogburn b. 12 Sep 1859 William M. Ogburn b. 23 Dec 1861 Therefore, it appears her parents' family may have moved to MS, before she was married since her children were all born in MS. My wife descends from the above Mary Annette Ogburn who married Reuben Elijah Buckley 12 May 1887 in Lauderdale Co., MS. Reuben was b. 13 Nov 1844 in Perry Co., AL. His parents, Benjamin M.
