Recently took a trip to Alabama and went to Perry County, AL the Uniontown area. Had asked around the area and no one seemed to know anything about these places. Not even the Uniontown Librarian. Thought that was unusual. If someone can get me more of a history of these places/the people who owned it? Or if they are still in existence today? This information would be helpful. As this will help me locate possible kin who lived and or worked on these place(Pitts Folly or Pitts Place). Specially needing info about any slaves, if possible. Was told my 2nd great grandfather(Maryland Goodwin and 2 of his brothers were on this or these places). Any help will appreciated. Thanks so much for your time.
