    3. Dear Perry Listers, I'm hoping someone can help me find some more info. abt. a possible 3rd Gt."granpa" on the 1830 Perry census. We seem to have lost him and any of his family after this census year and wonder if anyone on the list might have a clue who his family members were & where they might've moved? These Cardin/en folks are very elusive, and hard to track down... Perry Co, AL 1830 Census p. 62 (hand written above that is "123" ) JAS. CARDIN Males: = 7 Females: = 1 0 to 5 = 1 5 to 10 = 2 10 to 15 = 1 15 to 20 = 1 20 to 30 = 1 30 to 40 = 0 40 to 50 = 1 40 to 50 = 1 TOTAL IN HOUSEHOLD = 8 = According to census James & his wife must've been born bet.1770 & 1780. = There were NO slaves; NO foreign born; NO blind/deaf/or otherwise disabled listed What about Perry Co. tax records of this period? Does anyone know if they are extant? I'm REALLY stumped and at a dead end on this 'granpa' and his family. ANY HELP APPRECIATED, Martha
