Heard in Perry Co, Alabama in 1824. She was born in Georgia in 1804. They moved to Union Parrish, LA in 1859. Mary's parents may have been John S. born GA and Nancy born VA. who are listed in the 1850 census of Perry County, Georgia. Mary Edmonds and Joseph Heard had a daughter name Mary Frances Heard who married Alvin Perkins Davis. Would appreciate any leands on this line. Thank you.

Good morning--- Would someone do a census look-up for R.A. MUSIC/MUSICK in Perry CO AL in 1840....and see if you can find the race of the person and any other information i.e. where his parents were born and how old he was, spouse/children. ages etc... TIA Janice [email protected]

Janice, If he was not white you will not find him listed in the 1840 census by name. Thank you...why I ask about the race is that my mother told me he was N.A. and I am trying to establish that fact and also if he was a son of AUSTIN MUSIC.....that was on the Blount or Chambers Co AL census listed as a son... I do know by corresponding with distant relatives, they all say about the same thing...R.A. Music and his family "elected" to list their race as white... Thanks again.
