Tadlock, the son of Steven Silas and Martha Taylor was married to one of my kin, Viola Worrell daughter of my grandfather's younger brother, Washington P. Worrell. I info on him that he was married to Martha Taylor and that her parents were William Wesley Taylor and Mary LaGrone. Mary LaGrone's sister was Margaret LaGrone who was married to Matthias Hair Nichols so the Nichol's family may have information about the LaGrone family. Good luck with the Tadlock family. Maybe someone can find out who is Wiley Tadlock who married Jane R. Boyles in 1840 in Perry County Alabama? Could Wiley be the father of Stephen Silas Tadlock? What about Mary Tadlock born 1820, SC? {1850 Perry County census} Could she possibly be the mother? I don't do Tadlock genealogies but I thought this little info that I do have might be useful for some of you who are researching the Tadlock family.
