She is living in Perry co. Alabama in 1850 with son John. Catherine and John White were both born in Va. Catherine was the daughter of James Huff who was living in Perry co. Ala. in 1830. Her mother was the widow Amey Buckley. Her maiden name is still unknown. James Huff served in the American Revolution in Virginia and he recieved a pension in Alabama for his service. John White's parents were John White and Joanna Bradley. John white sr. and James Huff were neighbors in Elbert co. Ga. John White Sr. remarried in Elbert co. Ga. to Barbesheba Gunter. John White Sr.'s parents was Henry White and Celia Page.
