I'm looking for a William Chandler that had a son born in Va. called John Bethel ,12-27-1855. He was raised by his grandmother Nancy James in Carroll County, Tennessee.till he was able to be on his own. His father married a Hellen Shelton in Ill. sometime in the late 70's or early 80's. They had a son called Robert Cleveland Chandler born 11-16-1889. I know that John Bethel ended up in Limestone County, Ala. around the middle 1870's. He later married Viola Russell. Their son Solen Chandler is my grandfather. Any information would be appreciated. Thank you Bertha
