I had returned the books to the library, but happened to be going there for something else the other day. I checked the History of Methodism and Alabama Baptists and found no Blands. Are your Blands from Virginia? My John Edmunds RUFFIN is descended from BLANDs and Benjamin HARRISON, the Signer. He was in Perry Co. (Uniontown) and Marengo Co. (Faunsdale) in the mid 1800's.
