Martin b. ?., Tennessee, d. intestate July 7, 1850 in Johnson County, Arkansas leaving two unclaimed Mexican war Bounty Land Warrents. There was no mention of Father or Mother so assumed they were deceased. The intestate will did list all living brothers and sisters: (1) John Miller Martin b. March 3, 1810 in South Carolina, d. 19 May 1879 in Parks, Scott County, Arkansas. John Miller Martin married Lovinia Lipe, probably in Henderson County, Tennessee. John Miller Martin went through Franklin County, Tennessee; Henderson County, Tennessee; Johnson County, Arkansas; Sebastian County, Arkansas; Parker County, Texas; Scott County, Arkansas. (2) Solomon P. Martin - name could be Solomon Perry Martin or Perry Solomon Martin, b. ?., in South Carolina, d. August 21, 1864 on Red Lick Mountain, Johnson County, Arkansas in the Civil war. Solomon P. Martin was shown in U.S., 1850 Johnson County, Arkansas census with first wife Eliza J., - Eliza J., could be Eliza J. Hal! e (no documentation). Solomon P. Martin later married Eva Louisa Bean in 1852. (3) Elisabeth S. (Martin) Smith b. April 9, 1817 in Alabama, d. January 9, 1904 in Sebastian County, Arkansas. She married Abraham Smith, probably in Lincoln or Franklin Counties, Tennessee. Abraham & Elisabeth S. (Martin) Smith's oldest child was born in Lincoln County, Tennessee in 1835 or 1836. Elisabeth was shown in the U.S., 1850 Johnson County, Arkansas census as a widow with about 7 children. She was living on her brothers, Edmund T. Martin's land. Elisabeth moved from Johnson County, Arkansas to Sebastian County, Arkansas in 1870 and raised her grand-children, and was known as granny Smith. (4) Edmund T. Martin b. March 1819 in Alabama, d. January 1873 in Sebastian County, Arkansas. Married Margarette (Schrum) Jones about 1846, probably in Johnson County, Arkansas. (5) Sarah Ann (Martin) Lynch b. September 28, 1822 in Alabama or Lincoln County, Tennessee, d. April 10, 1892 in Par! ker County, Texas or Marion County, Illinois. Sarah Ann Martin married Joseph W. Lynch on January 2, 1839 in Franklin County, Tennessee. The U.S., 1850 Marion County, Illinois census showed them living in that state and county. Joseph W. Lynch dies in 1866. Sarah Ann (Martin) Lynch moves to Parker County, Texas in 1883 to be near some of her children. (?) William Martin b. ?., d. ?. William Martin penned a letter from Perry County, Alabama in 1851 giving William W. Floyd of Johnson County, Arkansas power of attorney.
