His grandfather came from Marian Georgia after the 1840 census. He is in Macon county 1850 census. He and many of his family are buried in the Fort and Davis Cemetery in Cotton Valley near Tuckeege, Albama. The only picture that I have are of my grandfather and the tombstones of his grandfather and family. If these Perry's sound familiar to you I would be glad to have a further discussion with you. My granfather lived in Birmingham, Alabama for most of his life and died there.

I don't think that Amanda Kirkley Steward/Stewart moved to Mobile but I suppose that is possible. The info I got listed Springhill Cemetery in Perry Co. but Of course I couldn't find it there. She was living with her son (either one of the Morgan's or Rufus Stewart) in Perry Co. as late as 1917. I know some of the Rylees (Amanda Stewart Creel Rylee) moved to Mobile but as far as I know this was her daughter Dovie's family. If Y. C. Stone was your grandfather then we are cousins. His sister Ila Stone Creel was my grandmother. Let me know if I can help you with anything. Joni

    3. Hi Larry, I am looking for Amanda D. Kirkley Morgan Stewart/Steward and family. I have been told that she is buried there. I would like to confirm that fact and also to find out if any other relatives are buried there. Her f-i-l owned land in Hale Co. and in the 1870's she and her husband (Andrew Stewart) and family are listed in the Hale Co. Census so it is possible that she and some other family are buried there. I will greatly appreciate any info you can provide regarding Amanda and her family. It seems that she was called by her middle name, Drusilla.
