Hello to All, If some kind person has access to the 1900 Morgan Co. census, I would be most grateful for a look-up. However, it is not a simple look-up (story of my life>g< ). I am trying to find my grandfather, Millard B. RYLAND b 1890-1895 in the 1900 census to determine his age. He lived in the Falkville/Lacon section of Morgan Co. He had left Morgan Co by 1910 so the 1900 census is my only hope. What complicates the look-up is that I am unsure of whose household he is in : ( He would have been 5-10 years of age in 1900. His mother, Bethina Callie RYLAND died in 1900...sometime after July 3rd when she gave birth to a second child, Tera RYLAND. I believe the 1900 census was taken in June of 1900. During her illness ...and pregnancy, family tradition has it that she and Millard lived with another family member....so this is where it gets complicated. I have some "best guess" households to look in. These are.... the household of; A. J."Bud" BRADFORD, wife Della Geo COLLUM, wife Sarah Ida Wm "Billy CAUDLE (CAUDEL), wife Mattie Anson WILLIAMS, wife Mary Ellen.....may have lived in Cullman Co. or Morgan Co.
