Pleasant THOMPSON married Martha GULLEY d/o Thomas and Elizabeth (Massey) Gulley. Thomas Gulley b. abt 1815 Marshall Co. TN Elizabeth (Massey) Gulley b abt 1820 Marshall Co. TN The family moved to Limestone Co. AL sometime between 1849 & 1853 Martha Gulley b about 1853 in Limestone Co. AL married Pleasant Thompson 1/9/1873. Pleasant Thompson was born somewhere in TN about 1850. Martha Gulley's death and burial is unknown. Children are: (Twins) Susie Betty & Oscar Annie Saint Elmore Second Marriage: Sallie Taylor b. 6/23/1869 d 2/14/1908 Pleasant & Sallie married 2/22/1893 Limestone Co. AL Children: (3 known)---Owen P., Bessie, and David all were born in Limestone Co. Sallie Taylor THOMPSON is buried in Limestone Co. AL her son, David is buried in Limestone Co. Sallie died 2/14/1908. In the 1910 census Pleasant is listed as a widow with Owen P., Bessie, and David in his household. I'm stumped. Haven't checked the 1920 census he could have still been living. I have other info. up to 1910 and I'm stuck there. It is my hope one of Pleasant's descendants will recognize a connection. Pleasant and his children lived in Limestone Co from 1873 to 1910 according to my research. If this sounds familiar, please let me hear from you.
