I am searching for the parents of WILLIAM HENRY LANG, born 1802 in Scotland by 1850 census in Morgan County. AL. He married 30 Jan 1834 REBECCA WALLACE, daughter of THOMAS and MARY 'Polly' (MCCONNELL) WALLACE. Their marriage license is issued both in Limestone where they lived and Morgan County. In 1840, they were in Franklin County when all their their children were born. And finally back to Morgan County. Could WILLLIAM HENRY LANG be a son of THOMAS LANG and his wife MARTHA who were in some 1824 indentures in Limestone? REBECCA and WILLIAM named their first son THOMAS B (Benjamin?) LANG. REBECCA moved to Cherokee County, TX with her brothers by 1860 census. No idea what happened to WILLIAM and hope for answers a finding others in this family. Luanne Spence Taylor
