    1. [ALMORGAN] RE: Samuel L. Cook
    2. JQ
    3. S.L.Cook, born about 1842 probably in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio son of Alfred B. Cook , moved back to Albany, Alabama, before 1923. He may have retired in Morgan County, and possibly is buried there. He served in the Civil War with the 39th Georgia Infantry as a fife player. One of his daughters (Katherine) married my grandfather (Nolan Matthews). Another married A.C. Mann. Mrs A.C.Mann was still alive in 1960 when Katherine (Cook) Matthews died in Wichita Falls, Texas. Katherine is buried next to Nolan and a Mrs. A.B. Price (Alice Price). I am hopeing to find Samuel L. Cook, A.C. Mann, and Mrs. A.C. Mann in Morgan County and where they are buried.
