My thank to Kathy and those who have done such a fine job with the Morgan Co. website. Transcribing census info is very time consuming and exhausting. Exhausting in that one is trying to read someone elses handwriting which is hard on the eyes and the ones mine. Anyone who has transcribed knows what I am talking about. These transcriptions are a great undertaking. It is a wonderful asset to the website and to thoses of us that use them. Much nicer for all of us than scanning the documents and then each of us having to decipher the handwriting.
