RootsWeb does not allow attachments to come thru the lists...HOWEVER if someone on this list is infected and you are in their address book many virus's will send out the attachment to everyone in their address book. I can tell you I am getting many "rejected" emails from RootsWeb that show it would have had the Snow White and the Seven Dwarf's attachment. BUT again RootsWeb does NOT allow attachments to go thru their mailing lists..they are REJECTED. Every year at this time there are many virus's that are sent out. So be cautious and even if you know the person before you open a ".exe" attachement contact them and see if it is safe. Good luck in your search and be cautious Kathy
