Also, ordered that John M. Gill and Benjamin Davis are appointed...as securities for the bond of Gideon Davis. Appraiser appointed for Lewis Davis estate were William Gill, James Young, and Edmund Davis p. 74 May 25, 1839 Application of William Davis to be appointed adm., of Gideon Davis' estate. Ordered that William Davis adm. of Gideon Davis, enter in bond with John Davis, and James (?) Daniel as securities for the faithful performance of his duties as an adm.
