Jeff, this internet world is truly amazing. I just put out an inquiry and bingo...I now have Serena's family. Do you have anymore info on her? I am working with several other researchers to try to solve a mystery about a Daniel Jackson Regan or about two Daniel Jackson Regans. My great-grandfather was Daniel Jackson Regan that married Amanda Boles when he was very young. According to one researcher, when Daniel returned to Alabama after the Civil War, he went to Pensacola to live. He married Serena and they had a very large family. There is no record of a divorce between Amanda and Daniel. Also, census records show they continued to have children. I think there were two Daniel Jacksons...perhaps an uncle and a nephew, but it is getting more difficult to understand. I have the names, etc., of Serena and Daniel's children if you would like that info. Would like to hear from you. Thank you very much for being so prompt with the Hinson info.
