Dear List, For those of you who wrote that you were interested in the Monroe Journal Centennial Editions, I want you to know that I wrote to Mr. Bolton, publisher, ten days ago, but he has not answered my letter. If any of you are interested in reading about the "old days in Monroeville," I just learned that George Thomas Jones has printed his stories that were published in the Monroe Journal. He wrote that his book has 91 stories, is coffee table size and the wrap around cover has a picture of the old courthouse. The book costs 29.95, plus 2.55 for postagae and handling. George Thomas's address is: 42 Academy Blv., Monroeville, Al., 36460. Go to the Monroe Journal web page to see examples of his stories.
